Apply consistent labels, classifications, regions, events or structured metadata.
Use approved annotation tools and SCILabel workflows.
Correct records returned by reviewers when rework is required.
Follow confidentiality, privacy, quality and data-handling requirements.

Who should apply

Healthcare professionals and suitably qualified biomedical or clinical specialists.
Ability to understand clinical terminology and project guidelines.
Reliable attention to detail and consistent annotation decisions.
Ability to complete required verification, training and assessment.

Training, assessment and approval

Applicants are reviewed before progressing through verification, free training and qualification.

The initial pre-work assessment is designed as a 40-minute assessment. The current qualification threshold is 95%.

Assessment success does not automatically create a workforce account. SCILabel Admin performs the final approval and onboarding decision.

Professional verification

Depending on the role and project, SCILabel may verify professional qualifications, relevant experience, identity and professional registration information before approval.

Applicants should not submit patient records, patient-identifiable data or confidential clinical information as part of recruitment.

After qualification

Qualified applicants remain subject to final Admin approval. Approved workers may receive a SCILabel Worker ID and proceed to secure Portal onboarding when appropriate.

Approval does not guarantee immediate project allocation, a minimum amount of work or continuous paid opportunities. Project opportunities depend on client demand, required expertise, availability and project-specific qualification.
